Thin, flat pieces are great candidates for stamping and fine blanking. Typical tolerances can be as low as ±0.001 inch [0.025mm] without additional processes. Materials for stamping and blanking include mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Post-process heat treatments are also available for stamping projects. Volume ranges from 1,000 to 100,000 pieces annually.
